When retrofitting windows & doors, the existing frame remains in place, it is important to get a near perfect colour match for the new joinery being installed.
We can colour match most windows to suit your existing window frames, however due to the effects of UV and/or weather fading and/or the anodising process, an exact colour match is not always possible.

Colour match to existing joinery

If choosing replacement window s& doors then the colour options are all over to you, this is a great time to consider if the current colour of your joinery suits your exterior cladding, roof or interior design ideas.

Many home owners look to the exterior cladding, roof or guttering for inspiration on joinery colour. Interior colours are important, but wall paint, fixtures and fittings are quicker and easier (and cheaper) to change than exterior products and materials.

Hardware colour is an important decision, your existing window & door hardware may be black, colour matched or have a coated or stainless steel finish. What you choose to go with is really up to you. Black hardware is a good option as it often, by contrast, matches any colour joinery, alternately going for a hardware colour matched to the same as your joinery helps the windows and doors blend into the background.

We recommend speaking to your dual GLAZE™ consultant about current trends, or period property trends and work together on the colour that is right for you and your home.
